Essay refers to a precise literary text that generally focuses on the significant aspects of a subject or a theme. Essay writing is considered as an inevitable part of academic curriculum. Follow these tips to compose a successful essay.

a)    Pick an interesting topic
If you want to write an excellent essay, you need to choose an interesting topic. If your professor has already assigned you a topic then stick to that topic. It is recommended to select a topic which you are comfortable with. You also need to decide which kind of essay you are going to write. It is required to do an adequate research work on the topic in order to compose a well-informative essay.

b)    Prepare a diagram
If you want to compose a well-structured and well-organized essay, you have to prepare a diagram initially. You need to organize your thoughts in this diagram.

c)     Write the thesis statement
The success of an essay depends on the thesis statement. Thesis statement must focus on the main concept and the important perspectives of the essay topic. It is recommended to write this thesis statement before you start writing the main content.

d)    Draft the body
The body of the essay must contain strong arguments and examples in favor of the aspect that you are supporting. This section needs to explain or describe the main idea or concept. Begin with writing the main body paragraph.

e)     Write the introductory paragraph
Write the introductory paragraph after composing the main body of your essay. This paragraph should highlight the backdrop of the essay topic. Include the thesis statement at the end of this paragraph. Adopt an inductive approach while drafting this section.

f)      Write the concluding paragraph
This section should sum up the overall ideas included in the main body of the essay. Do not incorporate any new concept in this section. It is recommended to include the final argument in this section.
